Lake County Sheriff Candidate Forum (virtual)
The hotly contested race for Lake County Sheriff has two Republican and two Democrats busy campaigning. The four men, John Idleburg (incumbent) and William C. King (Democrats) along with John Van Dien II and Mark Vice II (Republicans) have considerable experience but varying ideas about law enforcement in Lake County. Whether you request a Republican ballot or a Democratic ballot, you will have a choice between candidates.<br />The Forum is jointly sponsored by the Leagues: Deerfield/Lincolnshire, Highland Park-Highwood, Lake County, Lake Forest/Lake Bluff Area, and Northwest Lake County for this important race. The Forum will be our first experience offering services of a Spanish interpreter.
