About this event
Join your neighbors to discuss the state of our democracy and ways to improve civic life and local governance. On June 26th from 7 pm-9 pm at the Gorton Community Center, attend to express your ideas and concerns, and learn ways to strengthen our civic fabric and increase participation in local elections.
This event is being hosted by the Citizen Advocacy Center (CAC) and endorsed by the League of Women Voters Lake Forest/Lake Bluff Area.
The League believes this opportunity for neighbors to gather and exchange ideas for improving civic life and governance at the local level promotes an engaged and well-informed citizenry. We encourage all to join the conversation.
